Growing up on a farm, my father and grandfather taught me the value of hard work. We spent many a summer afternoon working as a family in the hay fields, chicken houses, or with the few cattle we had in Perry. I always believed that I would have a career in agriculture and pursued a degree in Poultry Science at the Univeristy of Georgia. God had other plans for my life and directed me into a another field, the field of medicine. My wife and I brought our 1 month old baby to Cordele in 2005. Since that time Cordele has become our home, the place where our friends live, and our church family worships. God has continued to bless us with 3 more children. I take the greatest satisfaction out of caring for my growing family, my patients, and serving my God in Cordele and across the world on mission for Him.
